You can register up to the 4th class of each trimester.
Your first class is a trial session. Do not hesitate to come and try!
In level 1 (for beginners and false beginners) we study in depth the basic steps for most of the group- and couple dances, and some easy variations: jig, circassian circle, mixer, scottish, mazurka, polka and some dances from Brittany.
Also on the programme: learning the basics, a comfortable dance position, leading and following, introduction to musicality for dancers, dance etiquette, creating automatic patterns…
"Early bird" promotion
If you sign up for an entire trimester of dance classes, and immediately pay on line before a certain date, you are entitled to our promotion.
Usefull information
Dance classes in Mechelen are given in Dutch. Our teachers also speak French or English, so you can receive short individual feedback in one of those languages.
Classes for beginners and "semi-beginners". No experience required.
We pay a lot of attention to a good dancing posture and, if necessary, to unlearning "bad dancing habits". This makes this workshop not only suitable for beginners, but also for people who have been going to balls and festivals for a while, but never learned the dances in detail.
On this page we describe in detail the knowledge required to join the each of our levels. If after reading you are still hesitant, you can participate in free trial classes in several groups. Please feel free to contact us.
You never need to bring a dance partner to our lessons, workshops or balls. You can sign up alone, as a couple, with friends or colleagues…
