Practical Info

Meal

We suggest all participants bring something to share with each other for tea.

The bar (coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine) will be open throughout the day.

Language

Our workshops in Flanders are usually given in Dutch, with translations into French or English if necessary. Koen is fluent in 5 languages, so you will get individual feedback in the language of your choice.

LEVEL

Beginners and intermediate:
You need to have assisted at a workshop 'folk for beginners' or a term of lessons level 1, or you should have at least 6 months of practice in any other kind of couple dances  (tango, salsa, forro, lindy hop… ).
We don't ask any knowledge of 'scottish' for this workshop, which is aimed both at beginners and dancers of intermediate level. Koen will give individual corrections and exercises, so that everyone can progress at their own speed, regardless of their original level.

Dance Partner

It is never necessary to register as a couple for our dance workshops. We will often change partners.

Therefore, you can register alone, as a couple, with friends …
