28 February 12h – 14h: Turning variations for scottish – Koen Dhondt
We are going to learn how to change the direction of rotation while dancing scottish. The couples will turn right and left alternately at different moments in the dance. We will learn the so-called 'salsa' variations and other ways to play with the direction of rotation.
Level: Workshop for advanced dancers, and for talented semi-advanced dancers who learn quickly.
You should master the basic steps of the scottish fluently, have a stable dance posture, even when learning new variations, be familiar with leading and/or following, and preferably also be open to changing roles.
