Laure will take you on a few delightful detours through the finesse and subtlety of Argentine tango (connection, movements) to enrich your palette of interpretation in mazurka and scottish.
No previous tango experience is necessary. Folk dance level required: intermediate & advanced.
At the crossroads of Argentine tango, folk, sensitive anatomy, improvised and contemporary dance, Laure Fourest's practice and her dance teaching involve a constant search for bodily comfort and balance between relaxation and tone, softness and power, structure and suppleness, all essential elements in the service of freedom of interpretation and harmony in dance.
