Planning
Each year, Frisse Folk organises over 20 dance workshops on Saturday and Sunday. Most of these workshops take place in Brussels, but we’re also active in Mechelen. Workshops are perfect to intensively practise a given theme or repertoire. We often invite foreign teachers to Belgium for these purposes.
During summer, we publish all workshops we organise between September and December. The programme from January until June is usually announced early December.
No need for a dance partner
For our workshops, you never need a dance partner. We regularly switch partners for the couple dances.
Languages
Workshops in Brussels are normally taught in French, with succinct translations to Dutch or English if needed. Workshops in Flanders are taught in Dutch, with short translations to French (or English) if necessary. The teachers of Frisse Folk speak multiple languages, so individual feedback is provided in your own language.
Punctuality
We ask you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop, so we can start at the advertised time.
