18:15 – 19:45 Dani Padpé
20:00 – 22:00 Tralala Lovers
On Saturday 29/11 (13:15 – 18:15) and on Sunday morning, Frisse Folk organises 2 dance workshops with Dani Padpé, alias Daniel Detammaecker, to get in the mood! More info soon!
Dani Padpé: As a multi-harmonica player and multi-percussionist, I enjoy entertaining at folk balls and concerts, both among the dancers and on stage. My distinctive feature is my taste for risk. I enjoy the unexpected, even the unknown. With a simplified formula (harmonicas, percussion & singing), I touch and invite people to dance, until perhaps… we are carried away into a trance.
The Tralala Lovers continue to reinvent and revigorate the world of folk-dance music. This French duet brings you finely crafted songs : energising, toe-tapping, spontaneous, cheeky and so catchy !
Vincent Gaffet : vocals, accordeon, componium, Jew’s harp, percussions
Diego Meymarian : vocals, violin, banjo, Jew’s harp
- To respect the neighbours, we'll have to finish at 22:00.
- Registration on the website of Frisse Folk is highly recommended, due to limited capacity.
- No need to print or show your entry ticket for the event. We will have a list with your name on it.
Fair Trade price
Organising proper, enjoyable bals, with good musicians is expensive and labour intensive. Nevertheless, the ticket prices for these types of live events are relatively low. By choosing the Fair trade price for our bals (on a voluntary basis of course), you contribute to a more fair compensation of the work and the costs of the musicians and organisers. Many thanks in advance!
We invite you to read the text Code of conduct & dancing tips that applies for all of our activities and recommend you to watch this video on consent and communication on the dance floor.
We also made a short YouTube video on managing space on the dance floor, and propose an overwiew of the most important recommendations on our website
