Workshop Occitan Singing with Guillaume Lopez
Programme
The workshop will focus on polyphony and dance singing from the Pays d'Oc.
We will work on the characteristics of traditional singing: style, ornamentation, variation, improvisation, singing in response, etc...
No notion of Occitan is required, however a regular practice of singing is desired.
This workshop will give you a foretaste of the Bal & Basta! with Thouxazun, Guillaume Lopez's band, in the same venue. You'll soon be able to buy your ticket for the Bal & Basta! (4pm - 10pm) on the website of our partner Muziekpublique.
