Great Folkball with live music !
We start really on time so everybody can enjoy the second group, even those who have to catch public transport. There were some other changes for Bal XL in January 2018. You can discover them here

No dance partner or experience needed. The ball starts with a dance initiation, so that also absolute beginners can enjoy themselves for the whole evening.
Do not forget to reserve your ticket on time as Bal XL often sells out in advance! We take on the reservation costs ourselves. A ticket will thus cost the same amount in presale as at the door (if tickets remain the night itself).

Fair Trade price
Organising a quality ball with good (foreign) bands is costly and labour intensive. We have decided not to bargain on the musician’s fee this trimester (as we were unfortunately forced to do in the past), and thus pay them a fair price. To make this possible, the price of the ball was raised by €2. By choosing the Fair Trade Price, you furthermore actively contribute to a fairer compensation for the work and costs of Frisse Folk as organiser. A heartfelt thank you!

The workshop participants of the same weekend (ans sometimes also before) get a reduced price for the ball (see price for workshop participants).

There is a discount price for one liter bottles of still water.
